Private Residence, Racine Wisconsin
Brick Paver Patio

This Southeast Wisconsin client purchased a 20-year-old home with no exterior patio. The home is adjacent to one of the neighborhood green spaces, with private views of an open lawn meadow.

The terrace and seat wall design focuses views to the green space, as well as provides additional seating options for outside gatherings. A grilling niche was provided off one patio door to allow for year-round grill access. The three piers are sleeved for future electrical lighting that will be mounted directly to the top of each pier.

Perennial plantings on the outside of the seat wall will provide periodic color and texture adjacent to the new wall. Additionally, space has been reserved near the grill for a small herb & annual garden.

The pavement and seat wall are constructed with Unilock Brussels Block and Dimension Stone, in a Grey/Prairie blend. The patio construction was completed in four days.
